Export each structural member from a BIM model as a STEP file. ifcopenshell and OCP resolve cope cuts and bolt holes automatically.

What this does

Walks the IFC tree, reads every structural member, resolves the cope cuts and bolt holes from the BIM data, and writes one STEP file per member into a zip.

When to use it

You have a structural model from Tekla, Revit, or another BIM tool, and your fabrication shop needs per-member geometry, not the whole assembly.
